These terms are between you and Amrood ('we'), who runs Balancier. By signing in or using the app you agree to them and to the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 16, and able to enter a contract where you live.
Balancier helps you record money you spend and receive, loans, business stock, orders and invoices, and shows reports and guidance built from what you enter. It can use AI to turn your voice or photos into entries.
The app is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal, investment or financial advice. The accounting guide and tips are general information, may be out of date, and do not replace a qualified accountant or your tax office. Reports are only as correct as the information entered. Please check important figures and tax matters with a professional.
AI can misunderstand or misread. Always check what the app shows before you save, and check your records from time to time. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records.
You sign in with your Google account and you are responsible for keeping your phone, PIN and Google account safe. If you share records or add staff, you decide what they can see and do, and you are responsible for the people you give access to. You are responsible for telling your staff and customers that you keep their details in the app, where the law requires it.
Your records stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run the app for you, as described in the Privacy policy. You promise that you have the right to enter any information about other people that you put in, and that you will follow the laws that apply to you, including tax and privacy laws.
AI features use a daily allowance that is shared and limited. It may run out, slow down or change. You can add your own Google AI Studio key, which is then used under Google's own terms.
The app is free today. If we later add a paid plan, the price and what it includes will be shown before you pay. Purchases and subscriptions would go through Google Play and follow Google Play's billing and refund rules. We will give notice before anything you use for free becomes paid.
We try to keep the app running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. Please download a copy of your data now and then from Security & privacy. We may change or stop features, and will give notice for major changes where we reasonably can.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or to protect the service or other people, and we will tell you why where we can.
The app is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, business interruption, or tax penalties or interest arising from using the app or relying on its reports or AI. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero while the app is free).
Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited, or any rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts in Islamabad, Pakistan, can hear disputes, but this does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to sort things out.
The app depends on Google services (sign-in, Firebase, AI, Google Play) and can open WhatsApp. These are separate services with their own terms.
We may update these terms. If a change is important we will show a notice in the app. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
